COMMUNITY SERVICES:

PURPOSE STATEMENT:
To identify issues and problems facing the community and to recommend positions to address those issues; to promote cooperation among Chamber members and local and state officials, and to serve as an advocate for Chamber members with regard to economic, social, and cultural programs.

COMMUNITY ENVOLVEMENT:
Cooperate with Chamber Members, Tourism, and Industrial Authority inf fostering a healthy community through the development and implementation of strategic community plans including property utilization, parks and recreation, visioning, transportation, greenspace, beautification and infrastructure.
MARKETING AND PROMOTION:
Champion the development of enhanced communications through radio, internet, cable tv, newspaper, and other publications that capitalize on accomplishments and success.
EVENTS:
Create business and economic opportunities in Clark County with the 2010 FEI World Equestrian Games, walking and downtown cell-phone tours, festivals, Clark County days, and other area events.
EDUCATION:
Support Partners in Education (PIE) and higher education opportunities with Bluegrass Community and Techncial College.
ADVOCACY:
Providee active support of business issues and/or concerns with local, state, and regional legislators and community leaders.
